Hospital Services and Info

General surgery including spays, neuters, declaws, dental cleanings and extractions, abdominal surgery, some orthopedic surgeries, some eye surgery, and mass removals on dogs and cats.

Vaccines for dogs we offer are Distemper/Parvovirus/Parainfluenza/Hepatitis Virus (Dhpp), Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), the rattlesnake vaccine (Crotalus atrox toxoid), and Lymes Disease.

Vaccines for cats we offer are Rhinotracheitis Virus/Calicivirus/Panleukopenia Virus (Fvrcp), Rabies, and Feline Leukemia.

Exam appointments can be made for all general health concerns. We do hospitalize pets overnight, but please be advised we do not have staff available after 7:00pm. Two of our doctors also see rabbits, guinea pigs, pocket pets and ferrets, besides dogs and cats. We will be happy to take care of your birds with beak, wing and nail trims. For ailing birds we do refer your pet out to specialists so they can receive the most up to date exotic treatment.

Surprise Animal Hospital currently takes appointments for dog grooming. Our groomer has over 25 years of experience. Please call and we will be happy to book your pet an appointment.
