I don't know about you, but as a parent, I hope to instill gratitude in my childrens lives, maybe more than anything else. It makes me nauseous to think of my kids being whiny, disrespectful and feeling entitled. Entitlement is a terrible thing to fall into. Ive watched a lot of people ruin their lives because they thought they were entitled to something or someone.
And maybe God (as our parent) wants that from us more than anything else as well. Theres a guy by the name of Paul who said a long time ago, Be thankful in all things for this is God's will for you. Maybe Gods just looking for children who arent complaining about their life who arent constantly moving from one thing to the other like hot sand underneath their feet hoping the next big thing will bring contentment.
Maybe hes just looking for thankful kids.

Happy November! You know what that means Election Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, but most importantly, a brand new virtue for Studio252. So while you prepare to stuff yourself with turkey and sweet potato souffl, we hope you also set aside some time to talk to your kids about this months virtue Uniqueness.
Uniqueness is learning more about others so you can know more about yourself.

And as a child begins to understand just how unique we all are, he starts down a path of discovering his own niche or significance in the world. Here are just a few ways you can help your child learn more about the people around him and even discover his own uniqueness in the process!

Make a unique Peanut Butter & Cheese sandwich for lunch
Look in a mirror with your child and write down all the differences you see
Help your child construct a list of things he wants to do in his life
Share unique tricks or talents with your family
Go on a scavenger hunt to find even more unique things God made
