It's an excellent question. We highly recommend shopping the Arizona dog trainers. You should
hire a dog trainer that uses methods that you believe in and who you will enjoy working with.

Pay attention to your dog during dog training sessions. If they are showing fear, stress or nervousness, stop
what you are doing and re-evaluate your methods. A quality relationship with your dog is based on trust
and respect, not fear.

By training your dog to respect the pack
structure within your home we will have them
under control and looking to you for their cues
on how to behave within three sessions.

Don't get a second dog just to keep the first dog company. Dogs don't need a friend to play with,
they need companionship and leadership from you. A dog will grow
up healthier bonding with a human leader rather than
a companion dog.

When walking my dog, he pulls uncontrollably on the leash.
Looking on the web, I found that I am supposed to stop and
just wait for the pulling to end. This doesn't work. As a matter
of fact, nothing seems to work. Can you help?

Watch out for the hazards in the home that could be harmful
to your dog. Household items, common plants, harmful foods,
hazardous objects, trouble areas in and outside the home
and holiday hazards can all cause problems for your dog.

If you have a large dog, you should learn about gastric torsion,
or "bloat". Never let your dog run and play immediately after
eating. Also, don't let them drink water for 30 minutes after they
eat. A dog should let his food digest immediately after he eats.
