Like most people who live in Tucson, I came here by choice, not necessity!
I am a California native, and fell in love with Arizona while visiting Phoenix for an advertising convention. I moved to Scottsdale in 1991, and quickly realized that Arizona was not the Mojave Desert I had envisioned, but the most wondrous state, from low to high Sonoran desert, lakes and pine trees and mountans and yes, even snow and ski resorts.
After working in advertising for the major networks MTV, ESPN, CNN and MTV, I decided that my calling was Real Estate, I wanted to help others find their own Arizona dream home. I worked as a Sales Consultant for home builders specializing in semi-custom homes in resort communities in Scottsdale.
I then had an opportunity to sell the western lifestyle of a "movie-set" community in the White Mountains of Arizona. I was thrilled to enjoy cowboy cookouts, rodeos, parades, and most of all building and selling cabin homes nestled in the National Forest.
My husband, John, and I moved to Northwest Tucson/Oro Valley nine years ago, what a fantastic city! We fell in love with the laid-back, friendly people, small town feeling, history and culture, and the stunning scenery. We live on El Rancho de Los Tres Caballos just minutes away from SaddleBrooke, with our horses and our German Sheperd dog, Gunnar.
Since we moved here, I have had the pleasure of working in SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch and The Preserve selling homes for the builder, Robson Communities, and I also spent years selling homes for their resale office.
