PLEASE NOTE ....Because they are aware that their primary source of customers are the Sedona hotels there are balloon companies that advertise in Sedona but DO NOT FLY THE SEDONA AREA. They will pick you up at your Sedona hotel, but then you are driven to a launch site south of Cottonwood. Although we understand their need to draw on the tourist pool in Sedona we do think they should make it clear where they fly, which they do not. ONLY NORTHERN LIGHT BALLOON EXPEDITIONS AND RED ROCK BALLOON have Forest Service permits on the Coconino National Forest, which covers the Sedona area.
