TERROS is a community-based behavioral health organization that helps people recover from substance abuse, mental illness and other behavioral health problems. TERROS provides a wide range of services throughout Maricopa County, Arizona to assist persons who have a serious mental illness.

The lead article in the September issue of Together AZ, Waking Up to the New World of Recovery describes what the author, Allen Nohre of TERROS, calls a the recovery revolution. Mental health treatment is learning from the substance abuse field and successfully applying the principles and processes of recovery to cope with mental illness.
DEA HEADS FIRST-EVER NATIONWIDE PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK DAY
Collection sites in every local community can be found by going to www.dea.gov. According to Gil Kerkowski, Director of National Drug Control Policy, prescription drug abuse is the Nations fastest-growing drug problem.
Sunday morning, October 3, 2010, TERROS employees, clients and friends of TERROS will join thousands of others in downtown Phoenix for the annual AIDS Walk organized by Aunt Ritas Foundation. Join the TERROS Walking Warriors to support TERROS HIV prevention, outreach, education and testing programs for persons at risk or currently infected with HIV.
Spanish speaking persons are now guaranteed they will be able to talk to a Spanish speaking customer service representative (CSR) when they contact the TERROS Call Center.
