Traffic Survival School
MVD Certified and Licensed for Traffic Survival School and Drivers Education

All Phoenix classes are taught at the beautiful Comfort Inn, I-17 and Union Hills Dr.
Saturday Sedona TSS classes are taught at the Sedona Airport Main Terminal Conference Room

We are teaching Basic Driver Training in Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Verde Valley Area at this time.

Here is our newest of the new driver training cars. It is impossible to drive this car without a smile on your face. Four-Wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system. Front air bags along with side air bags makes this car as safe as it is fun.

Our Dodge Stratus. It features 4-wheel disc brakes, and a smooth 3 litre V-6 (with 4 valves per cylinder). We love to drive and this car is FUN. Although it is a Dodge, it was built at the Mitsubishi plant where they make the Eclipse.

I've always told my driving school students that it is good to drive different types of cars when learning how to drive. I am now practicing what I preach. Our "new" cars are a Chrysler 300M and a Volkswagen Jetta. These are about as different as two cars with four wheels and four doors can be (unless we had a BMW M5 and a Hummer... but I'll give you 100,000 reasons why that isn't going to happen). Both have four wheel disc brakes with ABS. The Chrysler has traction control. Both have two front air-bags, and the V-Dub even has side air-bags. Again, we love to drive and both of these cars are very safe and fun to drive.

Even though most DMV offices don't require parallel parking, it is still a part of our curriculum. After you have successfully completed the Northern Arizona Driving School Course, we sign you off for the skill (road test) portion of your license. We also give you a certificate that usually entitles you to a great discount on your auto insurance.

Basic Driver Training Course
The best in Driving Instuction and Traffic Survival School in Sedona and the North Phoenix, I-17 Corridor area.

Our Graduates are Safe, Confident and Knowledgeable Drivers
We offer several programs including Basic Driver Training to a Refresher Course for drivers of all ages. We also hold monthly Traffic Survival School classes for those who are "asked" to attend by the state Motor Vehicle Division, or a court.
"Behind the wheel" experience includes 6 hours of intense instruction that is mostly one-on-one with the instructor.
We do not think that scheduling a student for 3 two hour sessions (or worse, 2 three hour sessions) is as beneficial as our program(s) of spreading out the training. We believe that the student will retain, and be able to put into practice, more of what they have learned using shorter training periods. In fact, we drive for the first 10 or 15 minutes the first day to show them some of the safety features of the car and help the student get used to the instructor.

We think that 5 or 6 sessions is much more conducive to the student becoming a safer and more considerate driver.

Rushing through a program is not an option! Students are not robots, they are individuals!

A night drive is also included in the training. As you know, driving at night is literally the difference between night and day!

Classroom sessions cover Arizona state traffic laws, roadway signs and markings that relate to the safe operation of a motor vehicle. Attitude and responsibility are a part of the classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. Safety is stressed throughout the course.
Upon the successful completion of the Licensed Basic Driving Course, you are not required to take a driving test to get your license. We sign you off for this requirement.
The Driving School offers and highly recommends, the Experience Phoenix Drive to our Northern Arizona students. Drive the freeways and streets of Phoenix, Arizona. What a difference a 100 miles makes!!! It will help to prepare you for the "Real World."

Pay as you learn to drive. Upfront payment is not required.
Check with your insurance agent or carrier about possible discounts for the successful completion of a drivers education course.
Fees are as follows:

Phoenix Drive = $125.00 in conjunction with enrollment in one of the above courses.
