GREETINGS FROM YOUNG SCHOLAR'S ACADEMY
Young Scholar's Academy (YSA) is a year-round public, charter school dedicated to the education of your child.* We strive to provide the best educational advantages for your child and to nurture his/her self-esteem. YSA is a back-to-basics school, emphasizing academic learning. Academic learning includes reading, language arts, and mathematics. Here at Young Scholar's Academy, staff and parents pledge to work together to help children achieve their academic potential. YSA is both a choice and a privilege. We expect all parents and students to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the school administration.
The staff and the parent will work together as a team to help your child achieve and enjoy learning. The academics will be challenging, yet, by allowing children to progress independently at his/her own pace, we will ensure his/her success academically as well as emotionally. Our teacher to student ratio is a maximum of 1:12, ensuring individual attention for each child. Each member of our staff is invested in the success of every student and we accomplish this by knowing each student and their particular needs.
YSA has a proven track record as evidenced by our state test scores. We have been classified by the Arizona Department of Education as an "Excelling" learning institution and we will continue to work very hard to maintain these high standards of educating today's children!
