Arizona SteelFab & Supply, Inc. began operations in Flagstaff on January 24, 2004. While we appear to be a new business the owners Bud, Jason, & Wade Woodruff and James Mac Intyre have combined experience in the steel and construction industries of over 90 years.
Focus on Improvement
Since our acquisition of Ackerman Welding, we have made it our mandate to improve the facilities, equipment and personnel employed by our Company. All the customers who visit us have and will notice a great improvement in the organization and cleanliness of our yard and shop. We have upgraded the equipment we use to improve both the production efficiency and quality of the work produced. All of the welders we currently employee are certified welders and most of them are certified in multiple types of welding. We continue, on a daily basis, to improve the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our customers. We invite all of our customers to come and see the improvements we have made and continue to make.
Certified By Clark Co. Dept. Of Development Services As evidence of our efforts to improve the quality of our products and service to our customers we have become a certified steel fabrication shop. Certification requires a written Quality Control Program, similar to the ISO 2000 program, addressing all facets of the operation. This in part, includes controlling the type and quality of the steel and other materials we use in fabrication. It also requires set up and in process inspections and a final QC inspection to insure that all fabrication meets and or exceeds industry standards. Quality control procedures must be followed for all of our contract fabrication and erection jobs as well as our shop fabrication jobs. We believe that this gives us a competitive edge because our customers can be assured that the work that we have produced was done correctly and to prescribed standards.

Our quality control manual and policies and procedures manual prescribes what procedures we must follow and is compliant with CCDDS-BD’s Certification Program and establishes the quality system requirements for products or services adopted by the management of Arizona SteelFab & Supply, Inc.
Corporate objective It is the objective of Arizona SteelFab & Supply, Inc., to adhere to the Company Quality Program. As president of Arizona SteelFab & Supply, Inc. it is my intent to see that all employees and subcontractors of Arizona SteelFab & Supply, Inc. adhere to all quality control procedures as outlined in our quality control manual. We intend to obey all laws, codes, standards, and ordinances of all government agencies.
