Hi, I'm Jim Pavett, owner and operator of Allusion Studios. Our passion is people and audio. Our purpose is to help people realize their vision. Do we have the most advanced studio in southern Arizona? Yes. Is that why you should record here? Absolutely not. My clients benefit from my passion of creating the best audio possible. Doing what we love has allowed us to work on Grammy nominated records and a plethora of other intriguing projects. Our recent recording session at Allusion Studios went better than any of us could have asked for. This was our first recording project as a band and we wanted it done right. We found Jim's site, read his philosophy, and were immediately drawn in. We were very nervous booking a recording gig just based off of reading the web site, but it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. As Jim says, it's about the talent and the expertise, and he has both in flying colors.

Jim Pavett is my "go to" recording engineer at Allusions Studios. His background in electrical engineering clearly shines and adds to his wisdom base. That's easy for Jim to say because he has the equipment, talent and expertise to make your recording performance sparkle.

When I decided to look for a studio to record my CD Sunrise, I soon found myself at Allusion Studios in Tucson Arizona. I was immediately impressed by the state-of-the-art facility. After talking with Allusion's owner, Jim Pavett, I was completely hooked. He thoroughly explained his recording philosophy which I felt was "right on the money."
