700 years ago the beautiful nymph Silvia and the handsome human Captain Malco knew their love was doomed. She gave him a knotted handkerchief as a symbol of her undying love - which is forever remembered in the shape of tortellini. Our friend Michael Carlomagno was in Valeggio sul Mincio for the La Festa Del Nodo DAmore ("The Festival of the Knot of Love") this year & sent this delightful report.
