Under the direction of our master rug designers Jacqui and Richard Waller, each of these piecesare handmadewith custom specifications in India, by craftsmen who draw upon generations of family weaving experience. All are faithful to weaving styles perfected in the American Southwest from the 1850's to the 1950's, which have no duplicates today.

High Desert creations including our own designs, are flat woven or pile for the thicker style and are hand-knotted from 100 percent New Zealand Morino sheep wool exclusively, famous for its softness and for its luxurious feel under foot. Cotton warp threads and colorfast analkine dyes ensure lasting design stability and decades of use and pleasure.
