Technically there is not a surgical procedure known as a "jowl lift." The jowls are lifted along with the neck area, in what is called a facelift. Some prefer to call this a lower facelift or minilift. In the medical/surgical literature, a facelift really only addresses the cheeks, jowls and neck. A facelift has nothing to do with the eyes or brows. It is extremely important when considering facial rejuvenation surgery to make sure the appropriate procedure is chosen to address the problem area.
